My Top Ten Budget Friendly and High Quality Makeup Products

By  |

As much as I enjoy browsing the aisles of Sephora and splurging on a high-end beauty product, I also find myself using some drugstore products for every-day use. Some of these products are just as great – if not better – than those sold at Sephora. And best of all, you can achieve the same look without breaking your budget!

I discovered this beauty brand Essence, which is sold at Target and Ulta stores. Their products are extremely affordable and amazing! I love their Cream to Powder Highlighter which adds the perfect touch of shimmer to my contour and is easy to blend with my fingertips. If you prefer using a fan brush for your highlight, you should try their line of Pure Nude Highlighters, which are pressed powders.

Wet N’ Wild PhotoFocus Setting Spray

No need to fork over all of your money for a spray that will lock-in your makeup. Wet N’ Wild recently released a setting spray that does it all – controls oil, sets your makeup, and makes it last all day and night.

L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

This mascara is an almost perfectly identical ‘dupe’ to the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.  This mascara is known for significantly increasing the volume of your lashes, adding a fuller, eye-catching effect.

NYX Matte Liquid Liner

I swear by this eyeliner and use it every day – it really is the best eyeliner for creating the most precise winged line or cateye.

Maybelline FaceStudio Master Prime 300 Blur + Redness

This product helps to nourish dry, dull skin while diminishing that pesky redness that can interfere with the true potential and longevity of your foundation.

L’Oreal Paris Infallible Total Cover Foundation

This product offers high coverage that will help you cover just about any skin imperfection. However, this formula is thick and may not be suitable for all skin types. So, for less coverage and a thinner formula, I recommend L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation.

Beau Gâchis Paris Cosmetics Pro Series Applicator Sponge Duo

For even and efficient foundation application, I highly recommend these two beauty sponges. One is tear-drop shape and the other is pear-shaped. They perform even better than the original BeautyBlender sold at Sephora and are way more affordable!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Eye Contour Light & Shade Palette

This eyeshadow palette includes 12 cool and warm-toned matte shades that are great for creating the perfect natural eye. Beauty bloggers have compared this palette to the Kat Von D Shade & Light Palette because of its variety of blendable, matte shades.

Milani Rose Powder Blush

For smooth application and high pigment, these blushes are great. An added bonus is the super cute, luxurious packaging!

E.L.F. Studio Eyebrow Kit

For the price, you truly cannot beat it. This neat little compact features a powder to fill in your brows and a pigmented wax to line and define them. It also comes with a dual ended brush. I have blonde hair and I use the shade Light.
