DIY Halloween Makeup Inspiration Looks
This Halloween, dare to be different. Impress your friends with not only the perfect costume, but the perfect makeup look. Whether you are aiming for a costume that is funny, sexy, or spooky, there is a look for you!
The Fortune Teller
This is one of my favorite Halloween DIY looks – and it can be modified to look cute or more scary. For the eyeshadow, try warm-toned reds, purples, and gold. For this particular look, I would use the Naked Heat palette. For the costume, think boho – mixed prints will do the trick! Pair a floral or paisley printed maxi dress or a long skirt with a white off-the-shoulder top. Top it off with layers of gold jewelry and a head wrap.
For this look, I mixed bright blue and purple eyeshadows and glitters with NYX Vivid Brights gold eyeliner to create small stars all over my face. I also used temporary tattoos of moons and stars to enhance the look! For the costume, I wore a galaxy print dress
This is a popular look this Halloween – and just a little eerie. For this look, think pink! I suggest Mac’s satin lipstick in Fashion Tide or St. Germain. For the cracks, use a matte liner such as this one from NYX.
This is a unique beautiful look – and so easy to recreate! Focus on enhancing the eyes with bright gold pops of color while keeping the lip simple with a nude shade! Add some face jewels with a high quality lash glue. Top off the look with a floral headband from Forever 21. Or, better yet, make one yourself with fake flowers from your local craft supply store.
The 1920’s Flapper Girl
Emulate the roaring ‘20’s with this glamourous look. Bold, accentuated eyes and lips really make this look pop! Pair this look with your favorite LBD and lots of costume jewelry.
Let out your inner wild side with this fun look! Create the perfect glow that will last all night with the Urban Decay Afterglow 8 hour powder and enhance your eyes with a pair of Ardell Faux Mink lashes.
